For me, art is a re-balancing act and a way to reconnect with nature. As an impressionist painter, I paint what I feel, not what I see. I often use a dry brush to mix and layer colors directly on the canvas. As time goes on, I have become more playful and less of a perfectionist. Perfectionism can sometimes get in the way of creativity. What I hope emerges in all my work is a landscape of my spirit and an invitation to join me there.
